EVAS is currently recruiting Flight Followers – Full time and Part time Job Description:  Flight planning and filing for scheduled B1900D flights. Flight Following for all aircraft flights Responsibilities: • Flight Following primarily for EVAS Air Canada Express routes • Develop, review, issue and revise operational flight plans for all EVAS flights as required, including training, test flight and charter operation • Determine operating conditions and requirements for each flight • Flight planning including route analysis and calculation of fuel requirements • Taking flight times and loads via radio and phone, and imputing them in computer systems • Provide operational conditions and opportunities that may benefit, constrain or impede operational capabilities to PIC/Operations • Provide crew briefings • Communicate to Air Traffic Control Services as required • Report deviations from standard, which could impact schedule down line • Communication/Coordination with Operations management and Maintenance Control. • Coordinate with maintenance control on any MEL items or aircraft issues • Other duties as assigned and/or department specific Qualifications: • Ability to obtain an Air Operator Radio Operator License  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma • Previous knowledge in aviation and flight coordination is preferred • Capability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment • Ability to think critically and act logically to evaluate situations and provide sound judgment • Ability to qualify for Gander International Airport Security Pass • Successful completion of the Transport Canada Dispatch examinations is an asset • Ability to read and interpret aviation weather is an asset • Computer literate with Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is an asset • Applicants with previous dispatch experience will be considered  • Applicants will be provided with in house training Benefits: Medical and dental plan, Air Canada Travel Passes Closing Date: September 30th, 2016 Company Name: EVAS Department: Operations Base: Gander, NL Street Address: 70 CL Dobbin Dr., Gander, NL, A1V 1M7 Country: Canada Web Address: evasair.com Email Address: employment@evasair.com Phone Number: 1-(709)-256-7484 Aircraft Types: B1900D Posting: Internal & External Send Resume & Cover Letter Via email: employment@evasair.com
