The St. John’s International Airport Authority (SJIAA) is a not-for-profit corporation committed to creating an exceptional airport experience at Newfoundland and Labrador’s premier gateway. The airport is the second largest in Atlantic Canada and currently serves more than 1.5 million passengers annually.

We are currently seeking the services of a Marketing and Communications Advisor . Reporting to the Director – Marketing and Business Development, this position is responsible for recommending, planning and executing marketing and communications programs designed to enhance the Airport Authority’s brand on a local, national and international level.

As our ideal candidate, you possess a university degree in business, communications or public relations with extensive course work in marketing, with at least 5 years’ related experience, which includes effectively responding to concerns from the general public. You have excellent written and oral communications skills as well as time management and organizational skills. You have a proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, with a track record of building effective working relationships. In addition, you have strong social media skills and computer skills as a proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
