Our Flight Coordination department is seeking a full time Jetdesk Specialist for our customer focused team. This position functions as the hub between our corporate clients and flight operations. Providing exemplary customer service to both our corporate clients and internal customers is a key component of this unique role.
Duties include:
• Pre-trip: gather details of client requests and translating that request into flight operation scheduling and technical requirements.
• Trip Planning: develop flight manifest, work with operational departments to maximize service, finalize details to satisfy client request and communicate details to client(s).
• Post Trip: conduct post-trip audit to enhance future successes.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Extensive customer service experience preferably in the aviation industry;
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience planning and organizing detailed private travel plans;
• Strong initiative and a willingness to do what it takes to ensure our customers are taken care of.
Flight Dispatch certification or pilot training would be considered an asset.
This position is located near the Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and requires a person with the ability to work shift work between 6am and 11 pm. We offer a full benefit package including free parking, an onsite fitness facility and a company pension plan.
