New Posting - Sky Regional

Sky Regional Airlines is currently recruiting a Customer Service Agent. 
Carry out all duties relating to the providing of services for customers travelling on Sky Regional Airlines and as directed by Lead Customer Service Agents and Managers, Airports and Operations Control.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Customer Service
  • Carry out all duties and activities related to the servicing of customers of Sky Regional Airlines and Air Canada Express including but not limited to:
    • Check in,
    • Gate Control,
    • Arrivals,
    • Baggage,
    • Cabin Grooming,
    • Wheelchair handling,
    • Customer greeting both landside and island side,
    • Announcements (bilingual),
    • All other duties as assigned by the Lead Customer Service Agent or Airport Manager.
  • Treat all customers with respect in a professional and courteous manner.
Policies & Procedures
  • Ensure company bulletins, directives and information circulars are reviewed and understood;
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of both Sky Regional Airlines and Air Canada.
Safety & Regulatory
  • Follow all regulatory requirements as set out by Transport Canada, Sky Regional Airlines, Air Canada and any other regulatory bodies;
  • Ensure that any safety related issues are communicated to the Team lead and or the station manager;
  • Ensure that accident reports are filed as per corporate SMS;
  • If requested Participate in workplace health and safety committee.  
Teamwork
  • Work as a strong team player and provide feedback on any issues or concerns.
Training
  • Ensure that all training assigned to LMS profile is completed in a timely manner.  
Other
  • Other duties as assigned to support the operation.

  • Recognize conflicting situations as they arise and determine appropriate responses;
  • Recommend procedures to management that will proactively monitor risks and determine acceptable risk tolerances;
  • Assists management to ensure contingency plans exist for problems and situations that might occur.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Computer skills an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French/English);
  • MSOffice (Excel, Power Point, Word, Access and Outlook).
Education, Certifications and Work Experience
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service role an asset;
  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • A related post-secondary education or community college diploma in Aviation or a related mix of education and experience would be an asset.
