Duties:
Reporting to the Manager of Operations or Shift Foreman will:
- Conducts daily perimeter checks
- Identifies the need for fence repair
- Wildlife control measures
- Tree and bush control activity
- Ensures all related equipment is prepared and available
- Operates tractors with attachments; small engine equipment (trimmers, chainsaws, and generators); plow trucks; sweepers or sanders
- Clears snow and ice from ground side parking lots and roads, air side hanger areas, parking aprons, taxiways, and runways
- Controls vegetation growth by performing grounds maintenance and landscaping, such as mowing grass
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in aviation operations preferred.
- Working level knowledge of airport operations and programs, as well as an understanding of protocols and procedures related to aviation safety.
- Must hold a valid Class "D" driver's license with a "Z" brake endorsement to operate various airport equipment.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
- Must have a valid Police Clearance.
- Must be both self-motivated and a team player.
