Job Description

We are currently seeking to hire a Customer Service Training Supervisor with excellent leadership and communication skills to work in a high volume fast paced environment at the NEW Executive Maple Leaf Lounge at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) . This is Shift Work, 40hrs/week, open availability to work all shifts is required. Start date : open until filled.

In the Maple Leaf Lounges we offer our Guests a First Class and Executive experience, each of the Air Canada award winning Lounges at YVR provide a Private, Serene escape from the bustle of the airport Activity. We pride ourselves in creating a clean, positive, friendly guest experience within the airport environment. We offer our members top quality meals on a buffet setting for all 3 meals throughout the day.

Job Responsibilities (some of the tasks but not limited to):
Work with the onsite team on a one-on-one basis to improve customer service standards and to ensure we are exceeding contractual standards
Coach and guide staff on how to elevate customer service
Train staff on proper etiquette
Communicate weekly focus topic to all staff members in pre-shift meetings in a multi site operations
Ensure staff understanding and execution of focus topics
Complete training and sign offs of understanding with team members
Responsible for communicating and following up on completion of staff assigned 24/7 online training courses
Responsible for Health and Safety Program
Other reasonable duties as assigned by the operations manager

Compensation: $18-$22 per hour depending on experience Qualifications

Min. 2 years experience with Customer Service Training
Experience with piloting a new customer service program
Min. 2 years leadership experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience leading/training a diverse group of people
A positive attitude and ability to adapt change
Must be self motivated with a desire to grow within the organization
Strong multi-tasking skills
Serving It Right Certification
Food Safe Certification
Hospitality/Tourism related certificate or education
