WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 
The Terminal Operations Co-op Student is responsible for assisting the Documentation Coordinators in researching, analyzing, writing, editing and publishing accurate and complete documentation related to complex departmental policies, processes and procedures. Some duties may include:

• Gather information and analyze processes and procedures to determine the logical and sequential flow of documentation.
• Seek out pertinent information using appropriate interview and information-gathering techniques
• Document processes, policies and procedures by writing, editing and publishing comprehensive standard operating procedures, policy documents and other supporting documentation that is clear, concise, grammatically correct and easy to understand.
• Perform operational process walkthroughs of airport, airline and passenger experiences to validate that all aspects are included in the appropriate documentation.
• Use the principles of page layout, topography and design to produce effective and readable technical documents.
• Develop documentation and content adhering to all templates, version controls and style guidelines as appropriate.
• Create learning documentation related to operating manuals and standard operating procedures including tests if required.
• Develop learning materials in support of the familiarization programs for both internal and external stakeholders.

Not only do you take pride in your work, you are willing to go the extra mile and help a fellow team mate. You are a proactive problem solver with the desire and ability to achieve results. You have experience in technical writing through a Technical Writing program or through previous work experience as a technical writer. You have a thorough understanding design, layout and graphics in Microsoft Office Word. You have previous experience in screen capture and graphics modification software such as Adobe Photoshop or InDesign.With many opportunities to experience the true essence of working in an Aviation industry, and multiple opportunities for networking, professional development and volunteer initiatives, you will only want to ask for more and more!

Note: Students must be enrolled in a Co-op Program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
