Advisor, Sustainability and Soundscape

Reporting to the Director, Sustainability and Environment, the incumbent is responsible for updating and implementing the Aéroports de Montréal soundscape management program. He/she contributes actively to implementing the Corporation’s sustainable development action plan.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Takes part in updating and implementing the Aéroports de Montréal soundscape management program.
  • Co-ordinates and takes part in implementing the sustainable development action plan.
  • Motivates internal and external stakeholders to attain environmental and sustainable development objectives.
  • Conducts technical studies and analyses and develops noise indicators.
  • Documents requests for technical information using the Airport Noise and Operations Management System (ANOMS).
  • Stays informed of grants programs, completing forms for the eligible ADM projects.
  • Takes part in promoting ADM’s achievements and represents the Corporation at environment and sustainable development events.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post-graduate University degree in sustainable development, environment or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of sound management.
  • Abilities to analyze and synthesize.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English and French.
  • Ability to deal with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to build good interpersonal relationships.
  • Unifier, team player.
  • Initiative and autonomy.
  • Knowledge of aviation operations an asset.
