Advisor, Sustainability and Soundscape

Reporting to the Director, Sustainability and Environment, the incumbent is responsible for updating and implementing the Aéroports de Montréal soundscape management program. He/she contributes actively to implementing the Corporation’s sustainable development action plan.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes part in updating and implementing the Aéroports de Montréal soundscape management program.
- Co-ordinates and takes part in implementing the sustainable development action plan.
- Motivates internal and external stakeholders to attain environmental and sustainable development objectives.
- Conducts technical studies and analyses and develops noise indicators.
- Documents requests for technical information using the Airport Noise and Operations Management System (ANOMS).
- Stays informed of grants programs, completing forms for the eligible ADM projects.
- Takes part in promoting ADM’s achievements and represents the Corporation at environment and sustainable development events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-graduate University degree in sustainable development, environment or other related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of sound management.
- Abilities to analyze and synthesize.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English and French.
- Ability to deal with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to build good interpersonal relationships.
- Unifier, team player.
- Initiative and autonomy.
- Knowledge of aviation operations an asset.
