If you have an ease with learning new technologies and you wish to make a difference by contributing to the organization’s unique challenges as it strives to excel in air transport security, we invite you to consider this wonderful opportunity: Advisor, Operations Systems (CCTV)  About the job  Reporting to the Manager, Operations Systems and RAIC, the Advisor, Operations Systems acts as the subject matter expert and advisor to various stakeholders in the successful operation and maintenance of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) System at CATSA service delivery locations across the country. These responsibilities include: leading and participating in project teams engaged in the design, implementation, support and maintenance of projects and files including inventory and life cycle management;  identifying and assessing business requirements and translate them into effective system options, budget plans, alternatives, technical specifications and solutions; and  liaising with airport authorities, vendors and CATSA IT to provide advisory, program management and client service through the full lifecycle of the program and its components (equipment, funding and maintenance).  What you need to succeed  To qualify for the position, you must have:  Graduated from a college or university with specialization in computer design, engineering, social science, business administration/analysis, project management, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position;  A minimum of (4) four years of experience in project planning, implementation and control, including coordinating activities, providing status briefings and establishing contingency plans;  A minimum of (4) four years of experience identifying resource requirements, developing statements of work, initiating contracts for the provision of professional services, including tracking project budgets and resources, and delivering status reports;  Experience gathering and assessing business requirements, defining business specifications and actively seeking ways to apply technology to business processes;  Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) system.  Language Profile: Bilingual (BBBB)  Skills and abilities  Strong client service orientation;  Clear and effective communication skills;  Strong organizational and planning skills;  Ability to engage others to implement new solutions;  Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;  Effective interpersonal skills;  How to apply  If you feel you are the ideal candidate for this position, please click on the following link to submit your application before February 5, 2018 by 23h59 EST.
