Aero Mag 2010 YVR is leading the way with state-of-the-art technology for aircraft de-icing and we are looking to fill open deicing technician positions. We are a private company located at the Vancouver International Airport.
Rôle et responsabilités / Role and responsibilities
§ De-icing / anti-icing of various types of aircraft,
§ Performing daily and pre-trip inspections of de-icing vehicles,
§ Testing of de-icing / anti-icing fluids,
§ Replenishing de-icing vehicle with fluids (glycols, water and fuel),
§ Communicating with operational supervisors and leads,
§ Completing documentation and data entry (fluid testing, vehicle conditions, de-icing operations data),
§ Conducting basic maintenance of equipment and custodial duties of facilities.
Exigences / Requirements
The ideal candidate will be able to;
§ Work in inclement weather,
§ Work at heights,
§ Successfully complete initial training and assessments,
§ Successfully complete re-assessments every 90 days, and
§ Work with minimal supervision and/or within a team in a high-stress environment.
Eligibility requirements;
§ Able to legally work in Canada,
§ Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license,
§ Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), and
§ Able to obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
