The Pitt Meadows Airport Society is currently searching for a full time Airport Manager to join our staff team at Pitt Meadows Regional Airport.
Reporting to the Pitt Meadows Airport Society, you will be responsible for the overall management of airport operations and accountable for results, outcome, and compliance with federal air regulations and municipal bylaws and policies. You will have responsibility for fiscal success of the airport where revenue generation must meet operating costs. You will be expected to provide management of capital assets and resources to enable airport services to be provided that are high in quality, safety, and effectiveness.
A post-secondary education is expected with preferred training or experience in airport safety management systems, emergency readiness and response, preliminary incident investigations, infrastructure, and contract management. You will have a strong background in aviation and hold a current pilot license. It is preferred that you have a background record of success in industry marketing and possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Good computer familiarity is required with a preferred proficiency in visual presentations and graphics. A full privilege BC Class 5 drivers' license is required.
