A pivotal role exists for an experienced total rewards practitioner, within one of BC’s premier employers. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Manager, Total Rewards will proactively support compensation and total rewards programs at all levels for YVR. The incumbent will be responsible for the payroll, benefit and pension program administration, as well as the overall salary budget for YVR, and will oversee a team of dedicated professionals. In addition, the Manager will act as the liaison between YVR’s senior leadership, internal stakeholders, including the finance department, pension committee and external vendors and consulting firms. By providing unparalleled support on all matters pertaining to the portfolio, the Manager, Total Rewards will be a strategist and collaborator.
As the ideal candidate, you are a dynamic and progressive total rewards professional with a desire to use your analytical skills to support theory, policies and best practices as they relate to total rewards. With a strong understanding of interpretation and application in real-world settings, you have an ability to influence and affect meaningful change and have a well-developed adaptive style working with others. You bring a depth of experience working at a management or senior level position aligning compensation best practices. You value team work and as such, you are a master at building and maintaining positive relationships and working collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals in a large and complex, unionized environment.
