Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing Flair passengers an excellent experience throughout their airport journey.
- Making reservations and computing fares.
- Processing passenger baggage.
- Providing passengers with accurate flight information.
- Recording flight arrival, departure and operational times.
- Ensuring the accuracy of passenger reservations within the reservation system.
- Assisting passengers with the boarding of the aircraft by verifying passenger ID and boarding pass information
- Assisting passengers with baggage.
- Assisting passengers who require extra assistance with the aircraft boarding process.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to passengers regarding flights and connections.
- Contributing to and helping implement operations procedures and policies as directed.
- Reporting proactive and reactive safety issues.
Position Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older;
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a customer service role;
- Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English; fluency in another language is considered an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no restrictions;
- Must be available for and successfully complete Training Program;
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (requires a 5-year traceable history, a clear criminal record and a Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Card);
- Demonstrated customer service orientation;
- Understanding of Airports Procedures is an asset;
- Knowledge and experience using customer service-related systems;
- Ability to work effectively in an open, dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative setting;
- Patient and able to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team; sometimes under difficult and stressful circumstances;
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues skillfully, appropriately, and in a timely manner;
- Hospitality, customer service, and/or transportation experience is preferred; and
- Previous Airline Customer Service experience would be an asset.
