Customer Service Representative

The Nanaimo Airport, on beautiful Vancouver Island is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Airport Operations Team. 

Over the last decade, we have invested for the future with a longer runway and new Instrument Landing System that make safety and reliability paramount to the success of our operations. Improvements such as these have made YCD one of the fastest-growing airports in British Columbia. 

As a member of the Operation Team, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the initial point of contact for the public/passengers and is responsible for delivering first class, professional customer service. The CSR’s role is to represent and portray the values and attitudes of the Nanaimo Airport Commission (NAC), its Directors, Officers and Managers. The CSR is also responsible for managing the NAC’s communications on a variety of social media platforms. 

Primary Responsibilities Under the direction of the Airport Terminal & Customer Care Manager and working closely with the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, the CSR is responsible for helping our customers and guests by ensuring safe and smooth travels in and out of the Nanaimo Airport. As a CSR you will be responsible for contributing to the Nanaimo Airport’s overall success by creating an outstanding customer experience for the travelling public and when answering phone enquiries.
