First Year Achievement Scholarship Awards, 2011

We are very proud to recognize three Airport Operations students who have won First Year Achievement Awards in 2011.  The awards were presented at the annual awards ceremony, which was held on November 16, 2011.  

Congratulations to Jastine Chen who was awarded the Frank O'Neill Excellence in Airport Operations Award at the Annual Fall Scholarships and Awards Ceremony on November 16.

Joanne Hsu was awarded tge Pat Plouffe Memorial Award in Airport Operations, which is the result of an endowment established in 2004 by family friends and collegues in memory of Pat Plouffe, a former employee of Eagle Airfield Limited, and who did considerable work for the Vancouver International Airport Authority.  Congratulations Joanne!

Christopher Fitzpatrick was awarded the Vancouver International Airport Authority Airport Operations Award.  This is an annual award, whcih was established in 1995.  Congratulations Chris!

These Airport Operations specific Achievement Awards are presented to students who have demonstrated a combination of high academic standing, leadership, and service. 

We would also like to thank the donors who make these special scholarship awards possible.   Their generosity makes it possible to recognize student success and academic excellence.
