At ceremonies held during the BC Aviation Council Silver Wings Banquet on Thursday October 25,  Lynne Denison Foster received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lynne has been an instructor in the aviation industry for over 40 years, beginning with PWA and Canadian Airlines. After leaving the Canadian Airlines training department, Lynne was instrumental in bringing the fledgling Aviation Operations programs here at BCIT to life - first Airport Operations, followed closely by the Airline and Flight Operations program. She was the first Chief Instructor for both programs for 8 years, when she decided to act on her succession plan. 

Lynne has always maintained high standards for industry education resulting in significant positive impact on many Canadian Aviation Professionals, many of whom were on hand at the Silver Wings banquet to wish her the best as she continues to train and educate others who share her passion for aviation.
