NovaJet is currently recruiting a Flight Coordinator.
Description of Job
This position is responsible for the evening and weekend operations of NovaJet's charter fleet, including ad hoc sales and trip quoting, scheduling of aircraft activities, flight log administration, and answering phone and operational emails. The evening/weekend flight coordinator will exchange mission critical flight information with flight crews, clients, and other service providers/partners.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrange for, and coordinate aircraft handling away from base, including setting up customs and immigration, crew transportation/hotels, and passenger amenities
- Basic flight following of all trips in progress to ensure coordination of customer service items, tracking of departure/arrival messages, and updating US customs information as required
- Administrative/bookkeeping functions including recording of flight information from aircraft logs into FOS computer system
- Respond to any after hour operational&sales phone calls/emails
- Ensure inter departmental communication is maintained
- Ad hoc sales functions; quoting charter flights costs and communicating with clients by phone/email

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize work flows
Someone who can anticipate and mitigate problems
Genuine customer service orientation, ready to go the extra mile everytime
Ability to work independently
Requirements
- Must be able to work evening/weekends as primary shift
- Aviation background or interest
- Demonstrated Customer Service and/or Operational administration experience
- Knowledge of aviation software an asset, but not essential
