Duties
Under the direction of the Manager, Shift Optimization (MSO) the Scheduling Specialist is the focal point for preparing, adapting, establishing and implementing operational personnel shift schedules in a complex scheduling environment.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in providing administrative or operations support.
- Experience in the use of office computer software applications and data manipulation and reporting tools such as Word and Excel.
The following experience factors will be considered an asset:
- Experience in staff scheduling.
- Experience with pay and leave systems.
- Instructional experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in the interpretation of collective agreements.
