New Posting - Flair Air

Flair Air is a Canadian charter airline based out of Kelowna, BC. We operate contract and ad hoc passenger charters in Canada, USA, and internationally. We are seeking an experienced Flight Operations Coordinator to join our team.


The Flight Operations Coordinator is responsible for a number of functions including, but not limited to:
• Monitor all day-of operations flights and communicate delays, IROPs or any changes to dispatch, and/or maintenance control
• Forward all SkyTrac generated departure and arrival times to the customer.
• In coordination with the Crew Scheduler, create crew pairings and publish the monthly crew schedule no later than the twentieth day of the preceding month.
• Monitor day-of operations crew scheduling and crew reports to ensure crew check-ins are adhered to, positioning flights are protected and all flights are properly crewed and will are operated within the Company’s flight and duty time limitations.
• Answer, direct and resolve crew or ground operations calls into the Operations Coordination Centre.
• Receive, review and upload flight manifests into the Company’s computer software program and ensure the final manifests are accurate and uploaded at time of departure
• Upload and transmit APIS and/or GENDEC as required.
• Assist with controlling and assigning jump seat, FAM, or maintenance rides (on approval of the DFO or designate).
• As required, ensure all overflight, landing permits and slot times are in place 24 hours prior to departure.
• Communicate Crew Scheduling changes to flight crews in a timely manner.
• Investigate and code delays for all flights.
• Compile and communicate Daily Operations Summary to Executive Team.
• Reserve, change, cancel crew positioning flights, ground transportation or hotel accommodations as required.
• Ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly Operation Coordinator checklists are completed.

Secondary Job Functions:
• Act as Project Lead for various Flight Operations programs and future projects.
• Assist with continuously updating and adding base, operational and flight crew contact information into the computer system
• After-hours Operations Duty Manager coverage as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• University/College degree/diploma considered an asset
• A current Transport Canada issued flight dispatcher certificate considered an asset.
• Previous Airline Operations Centre or Airport Operations experience a must.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR’s) as they apply to 705 operations.
• Ability to work in a high stress, ever-changing work environment while prioritizing tasks and assignments.
