Securiguard is currently recruiting a part-time Security Shift Supervisor - Relief Position (YVR Core).     This position reports to the YVR Branch Manager.  Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.

Job Description:

• Coach, Mentor and Support teams and staff
• Liaise with our client, client Partners and Service Providers to enforce Security Protocols and Procedures
• Supervise and oversee all security incidents with Client Operations.
• Responding to emergency incidents according to the emergency plan.
• Will work in conjunction with, but not limited to RCMP, CATSA, CBSA, GVTAPS and other Federal and Provincial agencies
• Various other duties as required

Qualifications

5 to 7 Years of Successful Management or Leadership Experience
3 to 5 Years Experience Managing teams greater than 10 people, preferably in a Unionized Environment.
Multi tasking and ability to handle stress.
Strong Communication skills verbal and written.
Excellent computer skills with an understanding of a variety of programs
(I.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and other work related software).
Ability to type quickly and accurately (up to 40 wpm).
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Demonstrate a high level of performance, commitment and motivation.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Ability to walk and stand for extensive periods of tim

Education Requirements (Any)
- High School Diploma/GED
- University or college degree
Certification Requirements (All)
- Security License
- Class 5 Driver's License
- RAIC Clearance
