The Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) is currently recruiting a Manager, Business Planning, Analysis and Reporting - (13-GTSBP-002). Reporting to the Associate Director, Business Performance, this position is responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of an integrated business performance management and planning framework for Guest and Terminal Services through reporting on financial performance and highlighting opportunities for improvement; leading the annual budget planning process for Guest and Terminal Services; and leading the annual capital budget planning process. A practical test will be administered as part of this competition. The salary for this management non-unionized position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and its slotting as Professional Support Level 3, Grade 9 in the GTAA salary administration program.
Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Managing the development of division budgets and financial forecasts
- Managing the preparation of the monthly and quarterly Guest and Terminal Services financial performance reports
- Overseeing the management of accruals, contract data, and the processing of invoices
- Managing the cost allocation process between Guest and Terminal Services and other profit centers
- Leading Guest and Terminal Services involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process co-ordination with GTAA Finance
- Financial analysis and reporting to support Guest and Terminal Services senior management’s business decisions
- Act as business planning lead
- Overseeing reporting and analysis of budgets with Guest and Terminal Services
- Responsible for being a customer centric Leader with respect to the Mission, Vision, Values and Beliefs
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of a University Degree with a business or financial analysis specialization or similarly related focus
- Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in Finance/ Business analytics, Corporate Finance or a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience of direct people management within a similarly complex environment
- Business Analyst certificate and/or working towards Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred and considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience working in a customer centric environment
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance
