Canadian North is currently recruiting a Part Time Customer Service Operations Agent – Temporary 6 Months Relief Position in Edmonton, AB.

Qualifications:
Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant (must be able to meet Transport Canada Security Clearance Regulations)
Clean criminal record
Two to three years of Customer Service experience in the Airport environment would be considered an asset
Understanding and background in Sabre would be considered an asset
Strong mathematical aptitude
Effective interpersonal skills in a fast paced environment
Ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work under stressful time constraint circumstances
Advanced computer skills.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management Systems program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
Complete aircraft weight and balance ensuring procedures meet safety regulations and guidelines as required
Process and resolve operational problems as they arise
Facilitate the communication of critical information in a timely manner
Transmit information in a variety of ways; air-to-ground radio, walkie-talkies, email, phone etc.
Maintain accurate record keeping as required by various government agencies and Company policies
Ensure that all workplace issues, including barriers to high level customer service, are brought to the attention of the Customer Service Management
Provide support and effective handover to other Customer Service Operations Agents
Perform all other Customer Service Agent responsibilities as required
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management Systems program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
Other duties as assigned
