Flair Air, a Canadian charter airline based out of Kelowna, BC operating contract and ad hoc passenger charters in Canada, USA, and internationally is currently seeking an Operations Support person to join our Calgary base.
The Operations Support person is responsible for a number of functions including, but not limited to:
• Act as a liaison between the operations support center and 3rd party handlers at our Calgary base
• Provide crew transportation airside and groundside as required
• Depart aircraft and ensure all services are completed by 3rd party handlers as required
• Liaise with various departments including flight operations, commercial operations, and maintenance
• Perform administrative and operational duties required for each departure and arrival
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Proven ability to work in a high stress, ever-changing work environment while prioritizing tasks and assignments
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be able to obtain airport security clearance which includes an extensive 5 year criminal record, employment and residential history
• Must be able to obtain a Radiotelephone Operator’s Restricted Certificate and an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport
• Must be willing to be on call and work a variable schedule including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Computer or administrative experience is an asset
• Previous aviation experience is an asset
