Customer Service Agent (YHZ)

This incumbent will be accountable for the operations related to the reception of passengers, the arrivals of flights, the check-in process at the counters.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
 Give exceptional and personalized customer service.
 Welcome, inform and direct the passengers at the check-in counter.
 Register the passengers as well as their luggage in the computer system.
 Conform to the legal rules pertinent to the airport industry, Health and Safety at work as well as all the other company’s policies and work procedures.
 Be able to react properly in case of emergency and apply the measures to be taken.
 Assist special needs passenger from the counter to the gate.
 Any other duties associated with the job classification.


REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
 High school diploma or equivalent
 Minimum age – 18 years old
 Customer Service Experience, essential.
 Bilingual (French and English).
 Work experience in the airline field, an asset.
 Available and flexible to work on various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays), by operational requirements.
 Lift heavy objects that could reach 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
 Work under various climatic conditions.
 Must be able to pass security clearance and obtain the restricted area identity card (RAIC) (please refer to Transport Canada website for more details).
 Must have either Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status.
