The Calgary Airport Authority is a
not-for-profit non share capital corporation, responsible for the management,
maintenance, operation and development of the Calgary International Airport and
Springbank Airport under long-term leases from the Government of Canada
The Role
Permanent Full-time
The Air Service Development team’s key focus is to work with incumbent airlines and targeted new carriers in order to provide excellent services and facilities that respond to their needs and requirements. Reporting to the Director, Air Service Development, this role will provide administrative support to the Air Service Development team. You will be required to learn and understand the elements of the hub development strategy and the air service development program. You will also be tasked with monitoring airport competition and sustaining important internal and external relationships with confidence.

Specific details include:
§ Providing support to airline programs.
§ Collaboratively work with Air Service Development Managers to
develop new projects and assist to mitigate issues and roadblocks as they
arise.
§ Prepare various reports and presentations for internal and
external stakeholders such as:

Economic and industry trend analysis.
·
Monitoring airport competition.
·
Inbound tourism analysis.
·
Airline seat and passenger traffic
analysis.
·
Tracking air cargo data from incumbent
cargo carries.
§ Assist in preparing business cases and route development
activities for incumbent and targeted airlines.
§ Coordinate and assist with promotional activities and airline
events in support of air service development.
§ Administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Basic Requirements
- Exceptional organizational, communication and
interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with
minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with
great attention to detail.
- Experience in preparing, analyzing, and
presenting statistical data.
- Capable of working effectively with a variety
of people and maintaining relationships with external and internal
stakeholders.
- Proficient and effective use of Microsoft
Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Airport or airline experience would be an
asset.
