Reporting to the Regional Director, the person will be responsible for:
* Lead teams responsible for Operations, Resource Planning and Training Deployment (Operations and administrative = More than 15 managers / Employees = More than 200 employees)
* Scheduling and Staffing
* Deployment and scheduling of regulated training
* Responsible to liaise with customer counterpart in all operational aspects.
* Communicate customer’s corporate culture and organizational values for the region to all unionized and non-unionized personnel.
* Deliver presentations to employee groups and executive staff
* Work with Regional Quality Manager to initiate corrective action plans.
* Develop business strategies, oversee budget, set goals based on the company's and customer’s plans and expectations
Job requirements:
* Must be a Canadian Citizen;
* 5 years as operations management experience;
* 3 years of management in a unionized workplace;
* Understanding of resource planning and project management;
* Must be bilingual;
Personal Skills:
* Leadership ability, teamwork skills
* Work independently without direct supervision , problem-solving and conflict management
* Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies
* Ability to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with the customer
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
