We are currently seeking the services of a Human Resources Clerk . This individual will be responsible for processing the biweekly payroll, for payroll administration and for the maintenance of leave records and group benefits in the Human Resources Management System. This individual will also assist with group benefits and pension administration and with payroll reporting.
The ideal candidate will have completed a three year diploma program in Human Resource Management from a recognized educational institution and will have completed the Payroll Certification Program from the Canadian Payroll Association. A minimum of three years of payroll experience, preferably in a unionized environment is required. A combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential and experience with Sage 300 (Accpac) is preferred.
