Office Administrative Assistant
Cougar Helicopters Inc. - St. John's, NL
Cougar Helicopters Inc. has an opportunity for a one year contract position as Office Administrative Assistant. The Office Administrative Assistant reports to the Office Manager and assists with administrative and clerical tasks.


Responsibilities:
  • Order, receive and distribute uniforms and replacements;
  • Order, receive and distribute coffee supplies and office supplies and business cards;
  • Coordinate St. John’s Airport Authority Passes and maintain visitor passes;
  • Responsible for setting up conference calls and boardroom bookings;
  • Monitor incoming faxes and distribute to appropriate person;
  • Maintain cell phone plans adding travel packages when required;
  • Maintain company lists, ie phone, vehicle, employee birthdays;
  • Escort visitors into the building (ie Ricoh, NL Disposal);
  • Maintain meter reading for Maintenance Photocopier;
  • Assist other departments with special projects as required;
  • Check/redirect emails for Cougar's information inbox;
  • Save and organize resumes for the Human Resources inbox;
  • Arrange interviews when required;
  • Copy and organize resumes and guide for interviews;
  • Reception relief for lunch time, sick days and holidays;
  • Maintain general cleanliness of cafeteria area;and
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work;
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills;
  • Strong administration and organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to exercise good judgment and diplomacy;
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Post-Secondary education is required;
  • Office Administration Diploma (or Certificate) would be considered an asset;
  • Experience in Human Resource functions would be an asset but not required.
