SUMMARY: Gives direction to Special Service Agents and reports directly to Special Service Supervisor and Station Manager when necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

· Ensures a safe work environment by following all ATS rules and regulations regarding the work place.
· Gives direction to Special Service Agents who provide assistance to all customers in need by assigning tasks to employees working the flight schedule.
· Serves as the first line supervision for Agents on shift or calling in to report a sick call.
· With assistance from the Special Service Supervisor, will make decisions on coverage, learn how and create staffing schedules, determine coverage needs on short notice call offs and take appropriate action to cover it when necessary.
· Ensure flight activity reports and tracking tools along with TEV checks are being completed and turned in daily.
· Coordinates the flow of assistance for daily flights departing and arriving to staff on shift.
· Coordinates the staffing for all Special Service Agents for all shifts.
· Handles customer complaints when problems arise.
· Maintains the level of service expectations of both the passenger and the airline customer at all times.
· Communicates with airline staff via hand held radio.
· Coordinates with other airport vendors regarding specific flight information or providing assistance to other customers during down time.
· Responsible to advise appropriate party of all extra hours, sick, and tardy calls and daily reporting if Special Service Supervisor is not on shift.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a clean driver’s abstract. Varies by Airport.
· Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be able to obtain airport security clearance which includes an extensive check of your last 5 years of employment, criminal record and residence history.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

· Must be able to lift up to 32kg in confined spaces.
· Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
· Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.

BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Previous customer service experience required.
· Demonstrated leadership skills in the work place preferred.
· Strong communication skills to converse professionally with customers and employees are ideal.
· Basic computer knowledge is required.

SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS: 

· Specific shifts to be determined

· Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.

· Some travel required

· Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts
