In honour of Women of Aviation Worldwide Week, The Sky’s No Limit – Girls Fly Too! is landing at the Abbotsford International Airport on March 7-8, 2015. Vancouver International Airport is the gold sponsor for this impressive event. This community outreach event is set to draw in over 10,000 girls and women from across the Lower Mainland. The most popular attraction at the event is the free flight for female first-time fliers.
Other fun attractions include hands-on educational activities and contests. This year, astronaut Wendy Lawrence will also be on site to share her experiences in aviation.
No registration is required for the event, however advanced registration is required for the free-flight for first-time female fliers.
