Valid driver’s license Ability to lift heavy objects on a continual basis Excellent organizational skills Proven ability to take initiative and solve problems Customer friendly attitude at all times Proven communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment Clean criminal record Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work under stressful time constraint circumstances Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and shift work Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask High School Diploma/and or equivalent work experience Must be able to successfully complete Dangerous Goods Acceptance course Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant (must be able to meet Transport Canada Security Clearance Regulations)
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety Management and tracking of cargo Accepting cargo and ensuring it meets regulatory requirements Building and breaking down of cargo loads Airway bill creation, closing/signing off Completing and verifying dangerous goods paper work Operating forklifts/heavy machinery for cargo movement assistance Preparing cargo for flights Other duties as assigned
