CAD OPERATOR/DRAFTSPERSON (CAMBRIDGE)
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of engineering drawings including plan & profiles, sections and details for design tender, construction and as-constructed drawing sets

• Preparation of figures for proposals, reports and presentations

• Generation and manipulation of 3D surfaces representing various engineering features such as graded terrain, obstacle limitation surfaces, material stockpiles, etc.

• Quantity take-offs for project cost estimates and tender documents

• Adherence to relevant quality control and CAD standards and procedures

• Providing assistance to the design team with various project tendering/construction activities

Qualifications

• A diploma in civil engineering technology or related discipline

• A minimum of 5 years related work experience

• CET or CTech status is preferred

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office suite of programs

• Experience with AeroTum, Pathplanner and/or Microstation is considered an asset

• Very strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks

• Ability to work independently as well as cooperately as part of the planning and design team
