INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR AVIATION PLANNER - TORONTO OR CALGARY

Key Responsibilities

Participating on large-scale planning and engineering projects in a team environment
Participating / undertaking / leading aviation planning assignments individually and in a team environment
Ability to participate in large multinational / multisector project teams
Act as a mentor to junior planning staff
Planning assignments include: Airport Master Plans, Airport Development Plans, Meteorological Studies, Noise Studies, Airfield Layout Designs and Management/Operational Plans
Preparing and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
Attending meetings and undertaking site inspections / field investigations across Canada and Internationally
Preparing and assisting with the preparation of work plans and budgets for proposals
Ability to manage budgets and balance priorities
Opportunity for growth into senior role leading large project team

College diploma in aviation management or similar
Master’s degree considered an asset
Minimum of three (3) years intermediate / five (5) years senior of relevant experience in airport planning, operations or management
In-depth understanding of TP312 and the Canadian Aviation Regulations
Knowledge of TP1247, TP308 and Annex 14
Proficiency with AutoCAD
GIS experience considered an asset
Excellent MS Word, Excel and Access abilities
Experience in planning/engineering consulting considered an asset
Ability to take initiative and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
