Winter Convocation 2016 - Scholarship Award Winners

On February 23, Airline and Flight Operations students from Class 13 were awarded three significant graduate scholarships at the BCIT Winter Convocation!

Congratulations to:

• Scott Johnson, who was awarded the Brett Loftus Memorial Scholarship, which is based on a combination of high academic standing, leadership, and service
• Simon Horlick, who was awarded the Geoff Smulders Memorial Scholarship, which is based on a genuine interest in aviation  along with a capacity for hard work, self-sufficiency and ability to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to enjoy life to its fullest. 
• Wilson (Shun Tang) Gao, who was awarded the Hong Mar Memorial Scholarship, which is based on a combination of high academic standing, leadership, service and best all-round performance
