What You Will Do

  • Your strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships will contribute to your success as our term Passenger Experience Coordinator. You will coordinate and assist with all passenger experience activities from curb to gate in support of a positive passenger experience at YYC.

  • Reporting to the Manager, Passenger Experience, your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Assist with the maintenance and improvement of YYC’s overall passenger experience including wayfinding and other signage, services offered, passenger flow, wait point improvements and queue management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate air terminal building activities such as organized filming, terminal events, musical performances, etc. Coordinate details regarding location agreements and arrange for escorts or security if required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure minimal effect on passenger operations during air terminal building events, activities and irregular operations.
  • Address, investigate and respond to complaints and requests from the public, tenants and others.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as those set out by the Canadian Transport Agency, Commisionare of Official Languages office and the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).
  • Perform administrative duties such as revising various presentations and reports, reconciling corporate visas and managing inventory.

What You Bring
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and work well in stressful situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong familiarity with airport operations and the aviation industry is an asset
