We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals for the position of: Airport Transportation/Dispatch lead General Tourism industry staff should have a pleasant personality and possess exceptional local tourism and dining knowledge. Our team members require good communication and language skills, understand social etiquette and present themselves as poised and professional at all times. Patience and the desire to be an outstanding local ambassador is also a must. Responsibilities There are many different responsibilities within this role and you may be asked to perform a variety of functions. These could include: Managing and overseeing large group arrivals in/out of YVR airport Loading groups onto transfers Managing the flow of motor coach movements, including onsite changes Managing porters, staff, smaller vehicles and guests Work with transportation companies to confirm vehicles and flow Clearly understand and manage arrival / departure manifests You are well presented and are capable of dealing with any issues or problems, professionally and tactfully. You effectively liaise with suppliers to ensure an efficient service is maintained.You are well versed with the operations at Vancouver International Airport, including transportation movement and porters.It goes without saying that you're someone who enjoys dealing with people - and has proven customer service skills, paired with enthusiasm and an outgoing personality. First-class all-level communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is your ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances. No two days are the same, so it's important that you are a flexible team player who is able to work well with others and on your own.
