Work location: Ottawa or Vancouver Project Managers within the Airports and Aviation Group must have airport experience, and generally should have worked extensively in or with airports on project initiatives. The expertise should include some level of understanding of hold baggage screening, pre-board screening, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines, as well as operations, regulations and airport. The Project Manager must have the ability to understand construction procedures in airports, and the operational and regulatory requirements around infrastructure expansions to accommodate airport projects. This position will communicate with stakeholders, clearly identify and describe project deliverables, effectively deliver project reports and presentations, identify value-added efficiencies, and present opportunities to avoid unnecessary changes to existing infrastructure and long term operating costs. This position may participate in strategy, business development, proposal development and key client engagement.
