WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your excellent administrative skills and passion for customer service will contribute to establishing a positive first impression to colleagues, business partners and customers as an ambassador of YYC. As a part of our Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations team, you will assist with various administrative duties and demonstrate an excellent first impression for The Calgary Airport Authority.
Your excellent administrative skills and passion for customer service will contribute to establishing a positive first impression to colleagues, business partners and customers as an ambassador of YYC. As a part of our Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations team, you will assist with various administrative duties and demonstrate an excellent first impression for The Calgary Airport Authority.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, you will be responsible for the following:
• Assist with various administrative duties for the Communications and Stakeholder Relations team. This may include data entry, stationary ordering, maintaining calendars and contact lists, sourcing corporate materials, and other projects or tasks as required.
• Greet and transfer incoming phone calls; direct customers and visitors to the appropriate party in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Work as a first point of contact to provide information and answer inquiries from the general public.
• Process and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages.
• Reconcile all courier invoices.
• Continuously provide and update the information necessary to update the Airport Authority telephone directory.
• Ensure the oversight of meeting rooms which includes booking rooms and ensuring rooms are set up to customers’ needs.

• Previous experience operating a switchboard or working in a busy reception environment.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service backed by strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Demonstrated ability to function well under pressure.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
