Cabin Safety and Flight Attendant Manager The Cabin Safety and Flight Attendant Manager is responsible for the drawing up and application of cabin safety standards. As a member of the Quality and Safety Management Committee (QSMC), the incumbent takes part in developing strategies aimed at mitigating the impact of operational situations considered to be high-risk. He is also responsible for the health and safety professional standards followed by cabin crews placed under his responsibility. Responsibilities Takes part in writing various publications for the department; Ensures that the content of the Flight Attendant Manual is up-to-date and approved; Ensures follow-up of safety reports; Responsible for the management of cabin verifications and conducts check flights; As necessary, gives flight attendants guidelines and instructions relating to safety and security; Liaison with the regulatory authorities, relevant external agencies and other Company departments; Analyzes accident and incident reports and other types of aviation occurrence reports, and follows up on them; Member of the go-team for Cabin Safety and participates in all necessary training; Develops safety instruction cards; Any other tasks that are delegated by the Director, Flight Operations. Requirements High school diploma; Successful completion of initial flight attendants' training; Successful completion of flight attendants' recurrent training and re-qualifications (knowledge and qualifications must be maintained up-to-date at all times); Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a flight attendant or equivalent experience; In-depth knowledge of regulations (CAR, Canada Labour Code, SMS); Languages: French / English (bilingual), oral and written; Experience as an Instructor or Supervisor is a strong asset.
