About the Role Under the supervision of the Chief Flight Instructor, the Scheduler and Dispatcher is responsible for exercising safe and efficient operational control over the MRU Aviation flights. The incumbent is responsible for the scheduling and rescheduling of student’s flight and simulator training and any record keeping with respect to scheduling. The Scheduler and Dispatcher is also responsible for dispatch including ensuring requirements as outlined in federal regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

About the Bissett School of Business The Bissett School of Business offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Students can pursue majors in accounting, general management (with concentrations in financial analysis, financial services, international business and supply chain management), human resources and marketing. In addition to these majors, the Bissett School of Business offers minors including business and society, innovation and entrepreneurship, and social innovation, nonprofit studies, as well as a diploma in Aviation, and certificates in advanced accounting, human resources, and marketing. Approximately 2000 students are enrolled in the school’s programs. The Aviation diploma program has been in operation since 1970. The two-year program operates eight aircraft at Springbank Airport along with three simulators. Students enter the program with a Private Pilot License and graduate with a Commercial Pilot License and Multi-IFR in addition to a Diploma in Aviation. |
