The Airport Services Supervisor oversees the day of shift passenger service operations at Toronto Airport. This includes adherence to the Ground Handling Manual, Security Requirements, the overall treatment of traveling customers and the interaction with airport community members. This position requires flexibility to work off-business hours and overtime, including holidays. This position will require on-call status during off hours and weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the handling partner is working in a productive and healthy environment. Coach, mentor, train and develop staff as required. Provide guidance on matters of Documentation requirements. Coordinate daily, weekly information to all affected Airport Agencies, as well as during irrops. Will be expected to learn ramp procedures and supervise as needed ramp related issues. Ensure SMS compliance, identify, investigate, analyze, prevent and verify compliance and communicate results of airport incidents. Support and work closely with OCC in situations as requested/required. Collaborate with and support other Sunwing departments with corporate policy. Produce and distribute On-Time Performance reports. Conduct Audits for SLA purposes. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Have at least 3 years of Airport/Airline/Aviation related experience Strong customer service background Have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, while ensuring safety is never compromised Have Leadership/People management skills Possess the ability to obtain an Airport Restricted Area Pass Be willing to prepare, maintain and update records, as required. Be willing to travel for work ENVIRONMENT AND SCOPE: Fast paced, deadline oriented work environment. Overtime may be required. Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
