TPD has partnered with Securiguard, an industry leading security solutions company based in Vancouver BC, in search for a compliance focused, project owner to join our team in our new Manager, Planning and Compliance position. This role is focused on strengthening the resource planning and overall compliance management of our services that we provide to the YVR Airport.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Acts as a liaison between multiple departments within the Securiguard YVR Branch and the YVR Airport team to understand needs and requirements for different projects while ensuring risk mitigation and lean practices are in place.
Determines (based on working all information gathered) the number of Airside Safety Escorts that will be required for each Project and report back to the Securiguard Team
Attends weekly Projection Meetings with Securiguard Team, to discuss up-coming and on-going projects and Airside Safety Escort requirements
Attends (and be the Securiguard Representative) at daily Construction Meetings
Attends the various worksites to assist in the implementation of both the Plan of Operations (which includes the Security Plan)
Attends various worksites and conduct Quality Assurance Audits, ensuring that the Plan of Operations is being followed, reporting to the Manager – Airside Safety Escorts any deficiencies.
Reports any immediate concerns and additional requirements to the Manager – Airside Safety Escorts
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Project Management Designation or Ability (willingness) to Obtain
- 3-5 years of Management within a Unionized Environment Experience
- 3-5 years of Project Management Experience
- 3-5 years of Construction Management Experience
- 3-5 years of Regulatory Compliance Experience
- Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- “D” Airside Vehicle Operating Permit (AVOP)
- Basic Security Training (BST)
- Valid Security License issued by Province of British Columbia
- Successful Completion of Aviation Security Training
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Level 1 First Aid with CPR and AED
