Under the direction of the Manager, Business Services (MBS), the administrative clerk processes activities relating to human resources, finance and administration for the Operations Organization and Technical Operations Groups. The clerk prepares overtime payments and leave records; completes iRecruitment requests; performs daily financial tasks; processes travel arrangements; assists MBS in the generation of financial reports; maintains various reports and/or systems for managers such as Headcount report, Medical Certificates Systems, and prepares ad hoc reports; provides Material Management support; such as purchasing, expediting, invoicing and shipping and receiving including Transportation of dangerous goods. Performs clerical duties to support the Operation and acts as a liaison for administrative matters; receives and sends mail and parcels. 

Education 
  • Successful completion of secondary education or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
  • A Diploma of College Studies will be an asset.
Experience 
  • Experience in performing clerical administrative and financial duties.
  • Experience in software programs and database manipulation such as Word, Excel, Internet and E-mail.
Abilities 
They will have the ability to exercise sound judgment in setting priorities and dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, and be highly adaptable with the ability to respond to rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines. They take initiative and have strong self-managing skills to work independently with minimal direction and are able to respond effectively to issues as they arise. They are able to work in a fast paced environment and interact with various levels of management using interpersonal skills, professionalism and integrity. They have excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, MS Office computer skills and attention to detail. As our ideal candidate, they will also demonstrate strong leadership skills.
