The Airport Corporate Services Manager provides leadership and management of the Airport’s day-to-day corporate services supporting YLW’s objective of becoming the best mid-sized airport in North America. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional services are provided in the areas of contracts, leases and licenses, procurement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, the processing of passes for restricted area access control, reception and secretarial.

1. Manage Corporate Services
- 5.5 – direct reports
- Hire, develop, inspire, assess, train, discipline employees in a flexible, multi-tasking environment
- Contribute to the strategic direction for Airport corporate services
- Succession Planning for the Airport Corporate Services department
2. Legal, Contract, Procurement, Insurance and Administrative Services
- Draft, review, analyze, update and modify complex contracts and licenses, procurement documents, and Council Reports
- Assist in drafting requests for proposals and tenders, and participate in the evaluation and reward process
- Oversee insurance renewals, claims and other, records management,
audit adherence, authorization of payments, review performance, resolution of issues, and collaboration on initiatives - Set and ensure compliance with Airport Administration procedures, problem solve on emergent issues
3. Customer Service
- Set exceptional Airport customer service standards and ensure standards are met through coaching, developing, training and managing performance
- Audit service request records to ensure a timely response and closure of items
- Perform quality assurance audits with internal and external customers on administration service standards and implement corrective action for exceptions
4. Confidential Services
- Confidential assistant to the Airport Coordination Team (Airport Director, Senior Airport Operations Manager, Senior Airport Finance and Corporate Services Manager, Senior Airport Development Manager)
- Provide confidential legal and human resources services
5. Manage Budget
- Operating budget: Responsibility $1.2M Primary
- University degree in business, legal administration or related field, 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an office environment and knowledge of aviation business practices.
- Experience in lease/contract, license, contract and common law applicable to commercial leases and license, land title matters, procurement, negotiation techniques and strategies, methods for dispute resolution, insurance and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
