JOB OVERVIEW

Come be part of the KF experience in the beautiful Okanagan valley and beyond. We’re seeking a new recruit to join our growing team at YLW as a Flight Dispatcher.

The Flight Dispatcher is responsible to the Director of Flight Operations for exercising

operational control over company flights operated under Type A OCS and providing

support to the flight crews.

Flight Dispatchers are responsible for the preparation of Flight Packages, including route

& weather analysis and generating and filing flight plans.

Flight Dispatchers provide flight crews with thorough weather & flight briefing, and

communicate with stations & other internal departments as required.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for a Dispatcher who currently holds their Transport Canada Dispatcher License and is an exceptional oral & written communicator. Critical thinking & Problem solving are key in this role, as Dispatchers often must think on their feet when confronted with unexpected situations. If you have all of these attributes and can manage the stressful demands of the position, you’re ideally suited for the Flight Dispatcher role.
