WHAT YOU WILL DO
This new role will serve as the Change Management Specialist for a critical change project underway for the organization. 
Reporting to the Enterprise Change Management Office as well as the Project Business Owner, the Change Management Specialist will:
• Develop and implement change management strategies and plans for a key change project (specifics provided during the candidate interview)
• Identify stakeholders, costs and benefits of the change, and specific impacts with project team and stakeholder groups.
• Engage stakeholders to provide input and understand the change in a way that builds their commitment/willingness to adopt and ensures the right people are engaged and/or informed.
• Ensure that strategies and plans address vital stakeholder feedback and that change plans are built into the project plan.
• Conduct organizational assessments to determine the current readiness and capability for change. 
• Identify pockets of risk; monitor and mitigate key people risks.
• Develop/partner with internal and external communications to develop strategies and implement communication plans, and/or provide coaching and oversight to ensure these strategies are developed and implemented. 
• Track and identify dependencies and overlapping impacts with other initiatives.
• Partner with project leads and teams to ensure appropriate performance support mechanisms are in place (e.g., training, team development, coaching, onsite support) 
• Develop and implement approaches to sustain the change; to measure progress and value, communicate success and take corrective action if needed.
• Provide feedback and act as a change management subject matter expert for organizational leaders, sponsors, and project managers. 
• Ensure strategies and plans are aligned to business objectives as defined by project key performance indicators or metrics.

WHAT YOU BRING
• 7+ years of experience in Change Management with a relevant degree or diploma
• Experience in leading large scale enterprise change management and transformational initiatives
• Systems thinking – ability to consider the interdependence of organizational systems, processes and stakeholders in formulating solutions
• Experience with project management principles and processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to negotiate and influence decisions with key stakeholders
• Expert facilitation and consultative skills including ability to anticipate, analyze, and advise on issues
• Team focused – understands team dynamics and works well as a part of a team
• Effective relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
• Solid experience conducting interviews, workshops, focus groups, assessing organizational risk, coaching sponsors, designing and facilitating stakeholder management events and meetings
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
