• Ensure a current and approved Flight Attendant Manual and Flight Attendant training program are in place;
• The issuance of directives and notices to the flight attendants as required;
• The actioning and distribution of accident, incident, and other occurrence reports;
• The processing and actioning of any flight attendant reports;
• The supervision of flight attendants;
• Assist in creating customer service training program for flight attendants;
• Review customer service complaints with regard to flight attendants and make recommendations for improvement;
• Assume any responsibilities delegated by the 705 Flight Operations Manager;
• Training of flight attendants in accordance with the approved training program.
• The maintenance of flight attendant training records;
• Liaise with other Company departments;
• Develop safety card features;
• Maintain currency, act as and line flight attendant and conduct line checks;
• In his or her absence, all responsibilities for duties shall be delegated to another qualified individual within flight operations management.

Reporting to the VP of Flight Operations/705 Operations Manager, this position is responsible for managing the professional standards, and regulations, and providing direction and overall supervision to the Flight Attendants. The Flight Attendant Manager (Inflight Manager) is responsible and accountable for the safety and security of all cabin operations. The Flight Attendant Manager (Inflight Manager) is responsible for analyzing crew customer service procedures and standards and making recommendations in order to best serve customers at Air Georgian

Job Description

• Ensure a current and approved Flight Attendant annual and Flight Attendant training program are in place;
• Issue directives and notices to Flight Attendants as required;
• Address all inflight related safety concerns, Air Safety Report’s (ASR) and Corrective Action Plans(CAP);
• Action and distribute accident, incident and other occurrence reports;
• Process and action any Flight Attendant reports;
• Supervise all Flight Attendants including performance and attendance;
• Assist in creating customer service training program for Flight Attendants;
• Review customer service complaints with regard to Flight Attendants and make recommendations for improvement;
• Train Flight Attendants in accordance with the approved training program;
• Maintain Flight Attendant training records;
• Liaise with other company departments;
• Develop safety feature cards;
• Oversee budgetary requirements surrounding staffing levels and labour costing;
• Maintain currency, act as a line Flight Attendant and conduct line checks;
• Ensure safety, security, quality and risk management policies and related applications are adequately implemented, monitored and that the airline operates within a safe environment at all times;
• Actively promote safety and quality within the organization and department by encouraging employee participation in SMS and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders;
• Comply with all SMS and safety policies, processes and standards;
• Assume any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the VP Flight Operations/705 Operations Manager.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma though University Degree or College Diploma strongly preferred;
• Fluency in French is preferred;
• A minimum of three years of experience flying aircraft that fall under CARs 705;
• At least 3 years industry related work experience;
• 1 year supervisory and/or management experience;
• Aviation audit training an asset;
• Knowledge of aviation security regulations;
• Sound knowledge of MS Office products
• Self-starter with demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiating skills;
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills;
• High degree of diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive security, public relations, and government relations issues;
• Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects;
• Thrives in a fast-moving environment, with a high tolerance for change;
•Motivated and enthusiastic team player who can work in an autonomous and/or team setting; and
• Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
