The Conair Group is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Auditor.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for audit planning, execution, follow-up and re-audit if necessary at all Conair operating locations as well as at vendor and contracted maintenance facilities.

In this role your duties will include:
• determining the objectives, scope and sample sizes of audits
• conducting audit interviews
• observing work practices
• reviewing records and relevant product/service performance history
• conducting gap analyses
• evaluating compliance
• evaluating corrective action plans
• verifying adequacy of checklists
• preparing for audit meetings
• preparing and submitting final audit reports
• providing notice of audit to department Managers/Supervisors as applicable
• providing input into the audit process
• following up on implementation and effectiveness of CAP
• identifying any professional development needs for your role

• easily read and interpret regulations, manual, reports, specifications etc.
• create checklists to track processes during the physical audit
• review CARS regulations including amendment tables to determine applicability of amendments to the company or audit program
• complete forms accurately
• find ways to overcome obstacles or resolve issues so that objectives may be achieved
• assess a situation and determine a course of action by applying knowledge, past experience, logic and insight
• plan and organize job tasks
• interact and clearly communicate with a wide variety of people both internally and externally
• explain procedures, listen to concerns, and provide practical solutions to such problems
• be a team player and able to deal with people in a polite and courteous manner

Due to the responsibilities of this role you must be able to read, write and communicate in English and be able to travel internationally.

Training & Education Required:
• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related aviation/aerospace experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Preference will be given to the candidate that has completed a recognized auditing course and/or has previous experience in a Quality Assurance role.
