The In-Flight Service Training team is looking for dynamic, proactive and motivated instructors. They will use excellent communication and organizational skills to plan and deliver quality training programs. This role will be expanded to include formal coaching and on board support to ensure the continuous development of trainees.
  • Conduct Flight Attendant recruitment, as required.
  • Conduct classroom instruction related to technical and/or people skills.
  • Provide coaching outside the classroom environment/on board etc.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide timely feedback and coaching.
  • Review, evaluate, and modify proposed and existing programs.
  • Gather and solicit operational and training performance information.
  • Work closely with all team members to meet In-Flight branch objectives
  • Participate in the development of training material.
  • Complete pre and post training administration.
  • Provide feedback to peers and Training Manager.
  • Solicit feedback from peers and Training Manager
  • Complete flight attendant initial training and maintain flight attendant qualification.

Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of adult learning methodologies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Customer Service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic team player.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in a training environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible /extended hours
  • Previous Flight Attendant and/or in-flight experience, a definite asset.
  • Bachelor of Education or similar certification, a definite asset.
 LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS
 Based on equal qualifications, preference will be given to bilingual candidates.
