New Mentorship Program Announcement

The Aviation Leadership Foundation Announces 2013 Mentorship Program Launch
Connecting leaders to strengthen British Columbia’s aviation industry

Vancouver, BC, September 10, 2013 - The Aviation Leadership Foundation in collaboration with the BC Aviation Council (BCAC), is pleased to announce the launch of its Mentorship Program in October 2013. This six-month program is dedicated to providing opportunities for participants to learn, network, build leadership skills, attend events and connect with others in the Aviation community. The program will connect triads of aviation professionals at different stages of their journey. A triad will bring together three individuals (a Community Leader, an Emerging Leader, and a Youth Leader) who have demonstrated leadership or leadership potential in their organizations or communities.

The Aviation Leadership Foundation is currently seeking motivated, committed, and passionate individuals to be Emerging Leaders and Youth Leaders. These individuals are invited to submit expressions of interest in the program until the submission deadline of September 30, 2013. A rolling acceptance model is in place, which means that the organization will begin accepting participants that are well suited for the program as soon as it receives completed applications, until all available positions are filled.

For more information about becoming a part of this program, please see the Program Overview, Participant Commitments, and Application Process in the Mentorship Program Expression of Interest document accessible through the webpage: www.aviationleadership.com/mentorship-program.html.
